Case Study: Idea To Income, A Heavy Chef Programme
Entrepreneur potential exists in every community, including the most disconnected ones in our country.
At the end of last year, with the help of FNB, the Heavy Chef team partnered with the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children to launch the Idea To Income programme to re-ignite an entrepreneurial belief among women survivors of abuse.
These are some of their stories.
A special word of thanks to the Saartjie Baartman Centre, FNB, Humanitas, Carryn Hennessy and Zinhle Novazi for your unwavering commitment to the courages women who took part in the programme.

It's jealousy against good leaders that kill Africa. Mbeki is by far an intellectual who speaks educational paradigms that constitutes our ideal livelihood, always wishing to see him alongside Motsoaledi.

The guy's a bloody lunatic Gareth. He'll be the first to attack you. We'd better pray he never gets any closer to President. Name 1 positive thing he's done for anyone in this country? The only time you see or hear about the EFF/Julius he/ they're threatening to cause chaos, causing chaos or encouraging anarchy. I honestly don't see any good in him, just pure hate. And by the way I have way more black friends than white & frankly find our black people way more loving and kind so dont call me a racist. Just look over the years and tell me what he's done to help anyone, or to help this country go forward. Name just 1?

Thanks for your input Gareth it means a lot for some of us who believe in unity and peace. It seems our politicians are untouchable, people are too scared to air their views, also too scared for intimidation or worse untimely deaths, and yet we go and vote for these people. UNITY IS POWER✊ !!! LETS NOT ALLOW DIVISION, BECAUSE , UNITED WE STAND FIRM ON SOLID GROUND, AND DEVIDED WE PARISH🤞 ANNE PHUTIEAGAE 🇿🇦🙏

In theses 10k hours, you shouldn't count the hours where you don't see any new results (when you are stuck). If you suck, go to school to learn basics ! If you don't want to go to school : take/pay a mentor or a coach ... Because you will never achieve anything in life without the help of teachers/mentors/coaches/knowledgable friends/etc. We don't know what we don't know ; Learn -> fail a lot -> repeat 1,2 until you get your 10k hours done ! Having said that, AI is there, we are doomed ! :/

And no mention of scholarships here either. How many others can be like this guy if their parents were rich enough to pay their kids tuition to the top us schools? This is a result of your typical 1%. No respect .

I'm doing a digital marketing and e-commerce course through Coursera in conjunction with Google and as you were speaking, I was like, yes, I remember this, okay so try and start with SEM while the SEO is starting to kick in (Brand Awareness and increasing traffic to your website). Yeah, try and fix those holes through perhaps email marketing, checking UX on your website etc... It was just exciting because everything was just coming together as you were speaking. E-com is the future, there's no better time than the present to jump in and roll out this market within SA🙂
